1. Who We Are

AlpenReise.live is an independent Alpine travel design service. We craft bespoke trips and provide booking support. Contact: privacy@alpenreise.live.

2. Data We Collect

3. How We Use Data (Lawful Bases)

4. Sharing

We may share data with trusted processors (hosting, analytics, email/SMS tools) and travel partners solely to fulfil your itinerary. We do not sell personal data.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies for essentials, performance, and preferences. See our Cookies Policy. Where required, we use a CMP (Consent Management Platform) and Google Consent Mode.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

8. International Transfers

Processors may operate outside the EEA. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) where applicable.

9. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures (TLS, access controls, encryption at rest where supported) to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure.

10. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. If we learn we’ve collected data from a child, we delete it.

11. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be indicated on this page with a new effective date.

13. Data Minimisation & Purpose Limitation

We only request the information that is strictly necessary to provide our services and to improve your experience. Where we ask for optional details (for example, preferences that help us tailor an itinerary), this will be clearly indicated as optional. We do not collect special categories of personal data unless you voluntarily provide them to us for a clear purpose (e.g., accessibility or dietary requirements). Data is processed solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and compatible uses, and never for unrelated or unexpected purposes without your explicit consent.

14. How to Exercise Your Rights

You can submit a data request (access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection) by emailing privacy@alpenreise.live. To protect your data, we may ask for reasonable identity verification before acting on a request. We aim to respond within one month, although complex requests may take longer in accordance with applicable law. Where permitted, we will inform you of any extension and the reasons for it.

15. Vendors & Processors

We use trusted providers for hosting, email, analytics, payment facilitation, secure document management, and customer support. These providers process data only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. Where providers are located outside the EEA, we use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

16. Marketing Communications & Preferences

With your consent where required, we may send updates about new routes, seasonal packages, or service changes. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect important service messages (e.g., booking confirmations or policy updates).

17. Security Measures & Incident Response

We implement layered security controls including TLS in transit, role-based access, and audit logging. In the unlikely event of a data breach that might pose a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authority in line with legal requirements, including details of what happened, what we are doing, and how you can mitigate potential risks.

18. International Transfers & Safeguards

When data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or SCCs. Copies of relevant safeguards may be made available upon request, subject to redactions for confidentiality.

19. Contact & Complaints

If you have concerns about our data practices, please contact us at privacy@alpenreise.live. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
